    Software Engineer - Intern

    May 2015 - August 2015 | Cleveland, Ohio

    At Answers, I developed novel web application features for an existing project in the ASP.NET framework using C#, Javascript, HTML, and CSS in a Model-View-Controller environment. For my other project, I built a Windows Forms application from scratch in C# to interface with a SQL database and conditionally restrict data using logical expressions based on the SQL schema. Additionally, I repaired a C# application to safely retry a data fetch operation and wrote a comprehensive stored procedure in T-SQL to automate a tedious data feed import.

    As a student employee for the Student Affairs IT Operations Group, I installed, configured, and managed computing equipment in a networked environment. Furthermore, I developed and maintained online content including graphics for divisional websites following established style guidelines.

    HSSRI Research Intern

    As part of Drexel’s HSSRI Program, I designed, wrote, and implemented an original data analysis algorithm (in Java) to find recurring motor primitive symbol patterns from EMG data. I conducted research using proprietary braided neural electrodes. At the end of the program, I presented my work at the Discovery Day 2012 research symposium.
